BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. A protocol was
signed following the 9th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental
Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural
Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Latvia, Azerbaijan’s Minister of
Agriculture Majnun Mammadov wrote on his X account, Trend reports.


“The 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Latvia Intergovernmental
Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural
Cooperation took place in Shusha.


During the meeting, we once again emphasized that Azerbaijan
attaches great importance to further strengthening relations with
Latvia and expressed confidence in the significant potential for
expanding cooperation. There is great potential for cooperation
between our countries in areas such as increasing investment
opportunities, trade diversification, livestock farming, forestry,
e-government, expanding student exchanges, transport and logistics,
agricultural processing, wood processing, air cargo transportation,
the film industry, and information technology.







At the conclusion of the meeting, the signing of the protocol
following the 9th session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission
on Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation
between Azerbaijan and Latvia will play an important role in
strengthening our strategic partnership,” the publication
reads.
