Iran strongly condemns the attacks on the islands of Lavan and Sirri in the Persian Gulf, calling them a violation of the ceasefire, the President of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated in a message published on his Telegram channel.
“The President, condemning several instances of ceasefire violations, including the attacks on the islands of Lavan and Sirri in the early hours of Wednesday, stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond decisively to any attacks,” the statement said.
