An Israeli airstrike on April 6 damaged a synagogue in Iran’s capital, Tehran.

The affected site is identified as the Rafi-Nia Synagogue, Iranian news agency Mizan reports.

Video footage from the scene shows rescuers navigating through rubble, with what appears to be a Jewish Bible among the debris.

A small Jewish community still resides in Iran, though many left the country following the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
