Russia’s Ministry of Defence reported that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed 21 Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over multiple regions within a six-hour period.
According to the ministry, cited by Caliber.Az, the drones were shot down between 09:00 and 15:00 Moscow time over the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions.
“Between 09:00 and 15:00 Moscow time, 21 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by on-duty air defence systems over the territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions,” the ministry said in a statement.
No additional details regarding damage or casualties were provided.
