Iran’s foreign ministry has accused U.S. media of misrepresenting Tehran’s stance on ongoing efforts to end the conflict with Washington, saying recent reports have distorted its diplomatic position.

In a post on X, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, foreign minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its mediation efforts and denied that Tehran has refused to engage with Islamabad, Caliber.Az reports.

"What we care about are the terms of a conclusive and lasting END to the illegal war that is imposed on us," he wrote.
