TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 3. Uzbekistan and
U.S.-based Aviagen discussed the implementation of a $40 million
investment project to establish a poultry cluster in the country,

Uzbek Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade.
The issue was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Minister
of Investment, Industry and Trade Akram Aliev and Tyark
Osterndorff, Director of Aviagen EU.
The sides reviewed the current status of the project, including
progress achieved to date and upcoming milestones, with a
particular focus on accelerating its implementation.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed to maintain close
coordination and strengthen cooperation to ensure the timely
completion of the project.
Earlier, on February 18, Uzbekistan and Aviagen signed an
agreement to establish a new poultry cluster in the country with an
investment of $40 million.
Aviagen is an international company specializing in poultry
genetics and the supply of high-performance breeding stock for
broiler and turkey production.
