BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 3. On April 3, Samir
Sharifov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Azerbaijan, and Alibek Bakayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
of the Republic of Kazakhstan, met to discuss their strategic
partnership and relations within the alliance, Trend reports via the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.


The meeting highlighted the significance of the recent gathering
of heads of government and vice presidents of member states of the
Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku. Participants also
discussed prospects for cooperation within the framework of the
OTS.


The meeting also addressed issues of relevance to the regional
and international agenda.
