Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released footage showing a Hercules aircraft and a US helicopter, believed to be a Black Hawk, searching for a missing US pilot, in the southern province of Khuzestan.
According to the IRGC, search is underway for the US pilot.
Earlier, the IRGC reported that a second US F-35 fighter jet had been shot down in the airspace over central Iran.
Additionally, the IRGC shared unconfirmed reports of a U.S. military helicopter crash on Iranian territory.
No further details have been provided regarding the location of the incident or the fate of those on board.
