The Turkish resort city of Antalya was blanketed in an unusual orange hue after a powerful sandstorm swept through the region, dramatically altering the skyline and atmosphere.

The phenomenon quickly drew attention on social media, where residents and visitors shared striking images of the city under a dense, dust-filled sky, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.

The visuals showed streets, buildings, and the coastline cast in surreal orange tones, evoking scenes more typical of a desert landscape than a Mediterranean resort.

A similar phenomenon was observed just days earlier on the Greek island of Crete, where airborne dust turned the sky and surroundings a deep red, producing equally dramatic scenes.
