Replacement train carriages are being sent to Ulyanovsk station to transport passengers following the derailment of a passenger train in the Ulyanovsk Region, TASS reports, citing the Russian Railways (RZD).
An inspection point for passengers of the Chelyabinsk–Moscow train will be set up at Ulyanovsk-Central station, RZD added.

A passenger train derailed in the Ulyanovsk region of Russia, according to the Telegram channel 112.
The report specifies that the incident occurred in the Cherdaklinsky district. Five out of 15 carriages went off the tracks.
“There are 415 people on the train,” the journalists emphasised.
At this time, no information about casualties has been reported.
