BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. The development of a
new strategy for the Turkic states is taking on particular
significance, Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said,

Her made the remark during the second meeting of the heads of
government and vice presidents of the member states of the
Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
“We are going through an important period characterized by new
challenges and complex processes. Conflicts, economic inequality,
technological upheavals, and hybrid threats are shaping a complex
international environment,” Aripov said.
According to him, in the context of international terrorism and
economic upheavals, the role of regional organizations based on
trust, historical proximity, and long-term shared interests becomes
particularly important. Under these circumstances, it is crucial to
pool the resources of the Turkic states within the framework of the
organization.
“At the same time, it is necessary to create conditions for
improving the standard of living and well-being of our peoples.
Undoubtedly, the agreements reached following the summits have
contributed to the expansion of mutual cooperation and the growth
of trade and investment. In this regard, the development of a new
strategy for the development of Turkic states takes on special
significance,” he said.
According to the PM, Uzbekistan supports the expansion of
mutually beneficial cooperation with the organization’s member
states.
