BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2. Energy cooperation
remains a key priority on our agenda, with Azerbaijan long
recognized as a reliable contributor to global energy security, the
country’s Prime Minister, Ali Asadov, said at a meeting of
government heads and vice presidents of the Organization of Turkic
States (OTS) member countries in Baku,Trend reports.


The prime minister emphasized that the experience and
infrastructure developed in traditional energy resources now
provide new opportunities for cooperation.


“Today, the number of countries receiving Azerbaijani gas has
reached 16, placing Azerbaijan among the world leaders in gas
exports by pipeline. However, our energy policy is not limited to
hydrocarbons. Azerbaijan actively promotes a green energy agenda,
prioritizing the development of renewable energy sources.







Additionally, leveraging the renewable energy potential of
Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to strengthen interregional connections
is a key direction of our cooperation. In this regard, we welcome
Kyrgyzstan’s intention to participate in green energy exports to
Europe,” Asadov stated.
