A 15-year-old student in the United States fatally shot himself after shooting a teacher at a Texas high school on March 30, the Comal County Sheriff's Office announced.
The incident took place at Hill Country College Preparatory High School in Bulverde, Texas, with no additional injuries reported.
The student shot the teacher and then turned the gun on himself, Comal County Sheriff Mark Reynolds said, adding that investigators are examining the relationship between the student and the teacher and how the firearm was acquired.
Classes will be cancelled at the school on March 31, and counsellors will be available to meet with families, Principal Julie Wiley said in a statement.
