Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned what it called “heinous Iranian aggression” against a camp, a power plant, and a water desalination facility in Kuwait, which resulted in casualties among military personnel in a statement on X.

“The State of Qatar firmly condemns the heinous Iranian attacks on the camp and power plant, as well as the water desalination facility in the brotherly State of Kuwait, which caused injuries to military personnel, and considers them a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and international law principles.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasises the need to halt unjustified Iranian attacks on brotherly countries and, in this context, confirms Qatar’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and security. The Ministry extends wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured on behalf of the State of Qatar and asks Almighty God to protect Kuwait and its people from all harm,” the statement read.

According to Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water, the strike on the power and desalination facilities killed one Indian worker and damaged a service building at the site.
