Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski accused Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of effectively aiding Russia, arguing that political support for Orbán aligns with Moscow’s interests.

In a post on the social media platform X, cited by Caliber.Az, Sikorski wrote: “Whoever supports Orbán helps Russia. It really is that simple.”

He accused the Hungarian leader of undermining European Union decision-making, including by sabotaging collective measures, blocking sanctions, and obstructing financial support for Ukraine.

Sikorski also stated that Russia has a vested interest in keeping Orbán in power. He has previously criticized the Hungarian prime minister, including suggesting that Orbán aims to continue purchasing Russian oil.
