At least five people were killed and eight others injured in an Israeli airstrike in the municipality of Al-Hanniyeh, according to the Lebanese Civil Defence.
Officials from the Civil Defence told Al Jazeera that those targeted in the strike were Syrian farmers working in the area at the time of the attack.
The wounded were transported to medical facilities in Tyre for treatment.
