Two airstrikes struck a military camp in Iraq’s Wasit province early on March 28, a security source told Shafaq News.
The strikes hit a site in the Al-Khama area, though the origin and nature of the attacks have not been confirmed.
The source added that units from the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), a state-affiliated paramilitary group, fired at low-flying aircraft near the targeted camp.
No casualties or further damage have been reported. Iraqi authorities have not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
