An airstrike on the Habbaniyah military dispensary in Anbar province has killed seven soldiers and injured 13 others, Iraq’s Ministry of Defence reported.
The ministry stated that both the Habbaniyah military dispensary and the logistics department at the Habbaniyah base were struck in a “treacherous airstrike.”
Rescue teams continue to operate at the scene, searching for survivors and attending to the wounded.
The Iraqi Ministry of Defence emphasised that the attack constitutes a clear and serious violation of all international laws and practices that prohibit assaults on medical facilities and their personnel.
