Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) is carrying out construction of the Aghdam–Khankendi railway at an accelerated pace, the company’s press service told Caliber.Az.
According to the statement, 40% of the construction work on the line has been completed so far.
The project includes the construction of the Asgaran and Khojaly stations, as well as a railway and bus terminal complex in Khankendi, located on the banks of the Gargarchay River, with a total area of 6.4 hectares.
The complex will feature two railway platforms and 12 bus stops.
