BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 15. The list of
products that became more expensive or cheaper in Azerbaijan in
February 2026 has been released.


Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistics Committee of
Azerbaijan indicates that compared to the previous month, prices
for several food products increased, including bread, sausage
products, fresh fish, milk, sour cream, cheese, cottage cheese,
table margarine, olives, sunflower and corn oil, lemons,
tangerines, bananas, apples, pears, quinces, pomegranates, walnuts,
hazelnuts, greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkins, carrots,
potatoes, natural honey, coffee, cocoa, mineral water, soft drinks,
juices and alcoholic beverages. At the same time, prices for
mutton, eggs, oranges, chestnuts, white cabbage, and onions
declined, while prices for other food products remained largely
unchanged.


In February 2026, consumer prices for non-food products
increased by 0.3% compared to the previous month and by 3.6% from
January through February 2026 compared to the same period of the
previous year. Prices mainly rose for cement, ceramic tiles,
furniture, detergents, personal hygiene products, and jewelry,
while winter clothing, wallpaper, plastic pipes, and cut timber
became cheaper. Prices of other non-food goods remained broadly
stable.


Prices for paid services provided to the population increased by
0.2% in February 2026 compared to the previous month and by 5.7%
from January through February 2026 compared to the corresponding
period of the previous year. Medical services, hotel services,
hairdressing services, and passenger transportation by air to
countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States became
more expensive, while air passenger transportation to CIS countries
and leisure tours became cheaper. Prices for other services saw no
significant changes.







Overall, in February 2026, consumer prices rose by 5.7% compared
to February 2025, including 6.8% for food products, alcoholic
beverages and tobacco products, 3.7% for non-food products, and
5.7% for paid services provided to the population.


Compared with the corresponding period of 2025, the average
annual price increase reached 5.7%, while prices rose by 0.6% over
the past month.
