Turkish authorities reported that a ballistic missile launched from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was intercepted and destroyed by NATO’s air and missile defence systems stationed in the eastern Mediterranean.






“All necessary measures are being taken decisively and without hesitation against any threat directed at the territory and airspace of our country,” Turkish Ministry of Defence said on X, Caliber.Az reports.





“Consultations are underway with the relevant state to clarify all aspects of the incident. All events in the region are being closely monitored and assessed, with national security remaining our top priority.”
