On March 13, the Israeli military announced urgent evacuations in areas around Villa Street and the densely populated Monirieh district in Tehran, near the city centre, as well as in the Lia industrial zone in Qazvin, the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) announced.
“In the coming hours, the Israel Defence Forces will operate in these areas, as in recent days across Iran, striking military infrastructure belonging to the Iranian regime. For your safety and well-being, we urge all residents to leave the designated areas immediately,” the army wrote on its Persian-language X account, attaching maps of the affected districts.
