Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a phone call with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to discuss the serious situation in the region.
Modi expressed deep concern over rising tensions, civilian casualties, and damage to infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports, citing Modi’s post on X.
“The safety and security of Indian nationals, along with the need for unhindered transit of goods and energy, remain India’s top priorities,” he wrote, reaffirming India’s commitment to peace and stability.
The Prime Minister also stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are strongly recommended to address the ongoing regional challenges.
