Jordan strongly condemned Iran’s drone attack on the port of Salalah in neighbouring Oman, which caused damage to fuel tanks, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

The ministry described the strike as an aggressive action that violates Omani sovereignty and constitutes a serious escalation threatening regional security and stability, Caliber.Az reports.

It emphasised Jordan’s rejection of the attack and reaffirmed the country’s full solidarity with Oman in confronting Iranian aggression.

According to the statement, Jordan also expressed its readiness to support any measures Oman takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the welfare of its citizens.
